Our Brand

Our Trophy brand provides a diverse and unique offering of products and packaging solutions to meet the needs of our consumers and operators.

Our brand is our passion, as we supply only top ingredients to our customers. When you see the Trophy name, you recognize the hard work and dedication we maintain by producing only the highest-quality products you have come to know and love.

Since 1967 we have separated ourselves from the competition by supplying a quality product with every purchase. Trophy’s philosophy and business integrity revolves around Quality, Value, Service and Trust, on which you can always depend.

History

Since 1967, Trophy has established a legacy of excellence, innovation, quality and reliability. Fully Canadian owned and operated, for over 50 years Trophy has emerged as a true Canadian success story.

Our employees always have and will continue to be the path to our success – we believe this provides us with a unique internal dynamic and sense of family, that to this day, is a major part of our success and a continued catalyst for growth.

From the onset of the formation of our company – The Trophy standard to ‘quality’ is relentless and uncompromising.

Our ‘direct from growers’ product sourcing not only ensures the best product, but has established a level of expertise for Trophy that has been easily applied to other food categories such as dried fruits, confectionary, spices, seeds and other salty snacks.

‘Doing it right the first time never goes out of style ’ is an old fashion virtue held closely by all of us at Trophy.

A common sense philosophy that believes when you start with the best ingredients never cut corners and always and take pride in what you do; you will always gain a strong reputation for being the best. Trophy passionately seeks to uphold this industry standard so as to ensure Trophy is always recognized as a market leader in quality.

In an industry dominated by large multinationals, Trophy has had an impressive track record of growth. In the 1970’s, Trophy began its expansion into Western Canada.

By 1979, Trophy acquired Gold Cup. An acquisition designed to vertically integrate itself and enabling Trophy to expand its production platform to include candy, chocolate products with a new national distribution opportunity.

Trophy went on to acquire Vancouver based Pine Nuts, JRI Foods in Mississauga as well as Krispak and Imperial Snack Foods followed by the purchase if Aliments Lalumiere in Quebec.

Through strategic and focused acquisitions, Trophy created a full service, vertically integrated national distribution platform.

A platform with integrated production facilities through out Canada and HACCP / Organic and Kosher certified. These designations are proudly held and established to further entrench our commitment to ensuring the highest standards possible for the Trophy family of products.

For over 50 years and for 50 more, the tradition of quality, innovation and always putting our employees first has fuelled and will continue to be the engine that drives Trophy success.

A true Canadian success story proving itself worthy to compete amongst the best.
