Trophy is committed to quality. We’re committed to food safety, and we’re committed to researching and developing new products to serve our customers.


QUALITY ACHIEVEMENTS

Our facilities are subjected to intense scrutiny by a variety of external agencies and organizations. We’re proud to have achieved a number of recognized designations, including:

  • Food Safety: HACCP accreditation for our Mississauga facility, as audited by AIB International/GFTC (Gold Rating)
  • Food Safety: HACCP recognition for our Calgary facility as audited by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
  • Gold Status compliance from 3rd party audits by GFTC regarding Food Safety and Quality
  • Kosher Certification (COR 124) received as per the Kasruth Council of Canada
  • Organic Certification by the OCPP/Pro-Cert Canada Inc. and Canada Organic Standards

FOOD SAFETY
Every raw material brought into one of our facilities is inspected by our Quality Assurance personnel. As well, our incoming products and finished goods are sent to outside labs for testing to ensure that all incoming raw materials and finished goods meet our strict quality and food safety requirements.
Our Quality Assurance team supervises a best-in-class Allergen Preventative Program that involves allergen identification and stringent cleaning protocols.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
We travel the world to discover new ideas. Whether it’s a new product, a better package, or an improvement to our food safety or quality processes, we bring those ideas back to our facilities.
From there, our R&D team takes those ideas and puts them into action. With our product development lab and test kitchen, our Research and Development team can adapt and develop products for our Canadian customer needs. With Trophy’s state of the art technology and equipment, multiple processing lines, and packaging formats, an idea can quickly go from concept to a finished product on the shelf.
